In the 1950s, the government began to incorporate martial arts into the jurisdiction of the sports department and formulate competition rules for martial arts. It also prohibits martial arts fight competitions.
From the 1950s to the present, large-scale martial arts competitions sponsored by the government. Participants are mainly martial arts teams from various provinces and cities and colleges and universities. The competition is quite fierce. Winning gold is very difficult. Therefore, the gold medal is extremely high.
After the reform and opening up. Various martial arts competitions organized by traditional martial arts organizations. Although there may be financial support from local government departments and enterprises. However, due to the low entry threshold. Some martial arts contest organizers also arrange beginner level competitions in order to encourage entry for beginners. The competition items are very fine. Various types of medals are prepared. The organizer aims at the martial arts martial arts, fitness and physical strength. Entrants took part in the participation and strengthened their friendship. Therefore, it is easier to compete for gold, silver and bronze medals.
After the 80s. With the opening of the policy. The government also allows martial arts to fight compete the competition. Wushu Sanshou evolved into a Sanda competition. This seed, bred from martial arts soil, quickly sprouted. However, when the martial arts community was too late to be fortunate, they discovered that Sanda had become independent of martial arts. Sanda is the road to fight in all countries.
Chinese martial arts competition is held one after another. No traditional martial arts or competitive martial arts, the competition has always been a martial arts routine. If there is no martial arts martial arts participation. I personally think that I cannot call it a martial arts competition. It should be called a Wuwu ( martial dancing) competition or a martial arts routine.
